New Century Research Publications (NCRP) is an independent publication about technology and science. We report on space, physics and energy, Earth and climate, artificial intelligence and computing, and consumer devices, and we publish explainers on how things work.
What we publish
Short, referenced articles written for curious readers. Each one explains what happened or how something works, and ends with numbered references to the papers, agency pages, documentation and announcements it draws on. We state study designs and whether results are peer reviewed, and we report company claims as claims.
Independence and the name
New Century Research Publications is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements, which also uses the initials NCRP and publishes its own reports at its own website. Nothing on this site is an NCRP report or official guidance from any body.
